Looking Ahead: 2026 Priorities

In 2026, SRPP will scale its prevention-focused migration governance model across Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Americas, building on groundwork established in 2025.

SRPP will strengthen institutional safeguards and expand its global footprint through the following priority actions:

  • Operationalizing localized early warning systems in Kenya, grounded in community research and validated policy recommendations.
  • Launching expanded training and institutional partnerships in the Western Balkans, including Montenegro.
  • Advancing collaboration with institutional partners in Moldova to strengthen prevention-sensitive law enforcement training.
  • Expanding regional legal identity and statelessness research across Southeast Asia.
  • Implementing new prevention initiatives across the Americas, including Colombia and migration corridors in Mexico and the U.S.–Mexico border region.
  • Strengthening cross-regional knowledge exchange to reinforce global prevention frameworks in migration governance.
